Vincent Van Gogh once said, “Art is to console those who are broken by life.” With confinement, anxiety and hardship still looming over us, it shows itself evident that the sense of beauty and transcendence that art brings is more important than ever. Over the years, photography has been such a channel for me and I would like to share that with you through the sale of prints of my work on museum quality paper or canvas. I will regularly be updating this growing set of images, selected from my portfolio built over decades through travels and assignments all over the globe. These are pictures, old and new, some published and others previously unseen. Every image here is made available for purchase as a signed print for your home or office wall… Each one of them curated to be a balm of benediction for the weariness of our times.

Even if you would not be able to purchase a print, please spread the word and amplify this sale with your loved ones. Every share counts! And please feel free to drop me a line and I would love to chat with you about my work, your work or anything else! When it comes to photography, everyone’s a winner!

Testimonials:

Abhishek uses his incredible talent to capture beauty and color, in everyday settings. His photographs are full of life, and honor his subjects in their honesty and in their ability to make the ordinary look extraordinary. He also made the entire process of purchasing the photos as seamless and transparent as possible; offering suggestions and working hard to make sure I received exactly what I wanted.

I have known Abhishek for close to two decades now. And while it took just about that much time for me to own the print of one of his photographs, I have always been an admirer of his work. He’s a storyteller with a keen eye for finding beauty in the everyday… [His photographs are] brimming with beauty captured at the right time and angle by the artist’s eye. It’s a joy to behold. And I’m very happy with the print I got – the choice of paper, ink and the framing is top notch!

Abhishek and I met years ago by chance at the Harrison Center for the Arts. He was giving a presentation and I was lucky to be there that day. I’m a photographer myself and enjoy works of others a great deal. I only buy work of artist who are kind of heart. Meaning they respect others and share their work in hopes to change or better the world. Abhishek photos took me to places I may never see in this life time. Rich with feelings and colors. The photo I decided on, spoke to me. I placed this photo at the entrance of my home. I wanted people to see this woman as they left. She is alone in this photo but she is seen by everyone who enters. The photo does not show sadness but how we are when we are alone. Being alone is a time to regroup. When I see this photo it reminds me to enjoy and relax. I can she has worked so very hard all her life and deserves solitude. When I met Abhishek I knew our time was brief and I knew his work needed to be in my home. I am so thankful that I met him and thankful for our friendship. I wish him incredible success.

His prints and photographs are a poignant peek into the everyday life. The perspective that Abhishek has makes you relook at things. His collage series, for example, had such deep stories behind each of them. The prints are very unique and can brighten up any room. Can’t recommend his work enough.
